trinamiX’s Plastic LITE and Plastic PRO application now usable offline.
The best of both worlds: Usable offline, always up to date
trinamiX, known for its easy-to-use NIR solutions, continues to rely on the proven cloud support of its products. However, since the portable plastic scanners are often used in locations with poor or no data reception, the data from the samples could only be captured in these situations, but not sent to the data center for evaluation.
With the latest update, the calculation of the results is outsourced to the end device and the identification of plastics is possible anytime and anywhere. The hardware requirements do not change, existing smartphones and tablets can still be used thanks to the efficient programming.
This change applies to the Plastic LITE and Plastic PRO applications with immediate effect. To stay up to date and receive the appropriate updates, but also to check the validity of the license, you have to connect the end device to the Internet once every 7 days.
This gives you the best of both worlds: Work offline anywhere, always up to date.
